Matthew 5: 25-34
Last night my bible reading was on one of my most favorite stories. The woman who just believed that if she touched Jesus' garment she would be healed. I want that kind of faith. I love how Jesus knew that someone had touched Him because He felt His power leave. how cool is that? It just gives me chills to think about how powerful god is. I also love how He tells her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction!" Wow! How much could we give to God that He can fix for us?

Changing Blog...
I was going to do a book by book study on this blog, but it doesn't really seem to be something that anyone else is interested in. I have decided to make this a bible study journal for myself. Everyone else will still be able to comment, but it will be more scripture by scripture.

Coming Soon...Ezra
I just wanted to have everyone aware that my next blog will be about Ezra. join me in reading it this week. If you would like to, go to www.biblefrom30k.org to the Ezra study and listen to Skip's teaching on it. It will be so worth it if you do!!!
2 Chronicles
This is a facinating book of the Bible. I am amazed to learn so much more than I ever knew about God's people, the Jews. I especially loved learning more about Solomon. It was impressed upon me during Skip's sermon about salvation during the old testament. There was a question posed to him during the teaching and his answer got me thinking. Back then they had to complete all these rituals and have faith that they would be saved. What a relief that we only have to believe in Jesus and haave faith in Him to save us. I would have a horrible time following the rituals and laws required back then. Everytime I even attempt to read the books of law I am totally lost. It is just one more reason that I love Jesus and am thankful for His death and ressurection.
Bible Discussions
I thought it would be fun to set up a blog where my friends and family can discuss the Bible and God. I am going to open up free for all posts and I also want to have a book byb book discussion. I will probably do that using the Bible from 30,000 feet plan. For example, right now we are on 2 Chronicles. I will set up a post for that book and some thoughts and verses from my perspective on that book. After that everyone can chime in on their own thoughts and favorite verses from that particular books. I will occasionaly create a post on a particular subject for everyone to discuss as well.
This should be super fun!!!
